Thanks to the generosity of donor and public support, Westminster Counseling Center has helped more than 4,000 individuals and families since 1987 with the critical mental health services they need to cope with life’s challenges.

Many families benefit from the Center’s fee reduction which pays for services for those who are under-insured, uninsured, or experiencing financial challenges. All contributions received help support our fee reduction. Gifts of all sizes are important in making these resources available to our clients.

Employee Gift-Matching Programs

Many employers match all or a portion of the gifts made by employees to nonprofit organizations. Contact your Human Resources Department to see if your company matches gifts. If so, complete the required forms and a matching gift will be provided to WCC by your company on your behalf. It is a wonderful way to increase the impact of your gift.

Gifts of Appreciated Stock

Appreciated securities are a wonderful way to give! These gifts typically offer benefit not associated with gifts by check, cash or credit card. By transferring stock, you can avoid capital gains tax, yet the charitable deduction will be based on the full fair market value of the shares on the date that the gift is made. Contact ??.

Gift and Estate Planning

There is a way you can make a gift to the Center with no impact on your cash flow now. Planned gifts, or charitable bequests, will secure the future by funding both advocacy and land, water, and air protection programs to assure the Center's continued growth. Gifts such as designating the Center as beneficiary on your life insurance, naming the Center as a beneficiary of a trust, or other planned giving options are a wonderful way to continue your support. To recognize your generosity, Westminster Counseling Center includes all estate and planned giving donors in its Legacy Circle.
